Becoming a Counseling Psychologist with a PsyD degree? - apa accredited psyd programs

I am currently in the 2nd Year of my studies. What are types of employment or work to be done to ensure that after graduation, I can go to find the Psyd Program (instead of looking for a teacher) and the schools have the best of the APA-accredited program Psyd?

If you are more Psy.D. Program is to get his mastery of the road. For example, doctoral programs in the normally four to six years and is its control after the second or third year, after he had his "complete" are.
Another possibility is a separate Master's program, which usually takes two or three years, then transfer to a Psy.D. Join timetable. But this is less common ... and that proves to be the same length of time ... unless credit master's program does not account for any reason in the Psy.D. Program, and you need to do more - you do not want it.
Anyhow, his grades up, get a diploma or a degree in psychology, try a little research and / or volunteers gain experience as a line or in a shelter or with populations with special needs, or in a venue which has a Job is that interests you. The most important thing is that Psyd search programs, is the motivation to succeed and a strong desire, a psychologist. Good luck!
